Primary role:
As a User Interface (UI) Designer, you won’t just be designing great interfaces, you’ll be involved from the inception to the delivery of products, facilitating internal and external business partners, offering ideas, pushing pixels, and helping ensure the product delivered is a great experience. Help translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. You'll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions.

Scope of Services:
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts
Account for and track the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Participate in all stages of the product design and development lifecycle, including generative research, conception and definition, prototyping, UI design, and testing
Establish and communicate effective design processes through a strong understanding of user-centered design techniques coupled with practical experience in how a User Interface (UI) collaborates cross-functionally for maximum effectiveness delivering solutions for the platform
Collaboratively work with cross-functional groups (particularly our front-end development team), internal and external partners to deliver clear direction, specifications, and documentation on how to execute that strategy on projects while meeting project deadlines, and confirms that the quality of projects meet the UI/UX requirements
Help create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the designof the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.

Top Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in design (interaction, graphic, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or
2- 3+ years of experience creating and implementing UI design with ability to drive designs that achieve business results
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Understanding of coding and ability to transfer the brand's strength through the interface of a product
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction with Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Proven UI experience, UI design skills with a strong portfolio. Knowledge of design tools, user functionality, intuitive design, current UI Design strategies and trends across web and mobile platforms along with a strong portfolio featuring examples of design work
Experience in wireframe rendering, interface operation design, research, and new product development utilizing lean UI methods in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience in leveraging wireframes, mockups and/or clickable prototypes for alpha/beta, usability, and other types of testing as part of the visualization process prior to product development
Working familiarity with software development life cycle processes
