We’re looking for a junior designer with a diverse portfolio who is excited to learn and provide support for our creative team.
Junior designers work with the close mentorship and support of our design team, art directors, writers, and creative leadership to design and produce creative solutions for our clients. Leaning into the experience of the team, they learn about and support on projects across a wide variety of disciplines including branding, digital design, environmental, packaging, and yes, more than a few presentation decks. They need to be highly collaborative, and ready to jump into many kinds of projects. Most importantly, they’re curious, adaptable, and ready to grow.
You’ll be expected to develop the skills needed to create thoughtful and beautiful designs for projects big and small. You’ll need to dig into the details of every project, and to constantly work to hone your craft and the skills of the agency. In addition to making great work, you’ll work to develop the ability and confidence to talk about your ideas with clarity and persuasiveness. We are a very collaborative workplace, and you’ll need to be comfortable collaborating across disciples. This is an opportunity to work with an exceptional team on interesting projects, and we’re looking for someone who is excited to learn and grow with us.

Honest, direct, and detailed communication.
Perpetually evolve your own skills; try new things and work inventively.
Use your unique experiences and skills to help push Owen Jones' creative executions.
Get to the heart of what it is you’re trying to solve; dig in deep and research.
