The Role

As the Marketing Lead, you will help drive Finmo’s Marketing strategy, owning the client lifecycle from prospecting to retention. You will be responsible for growing Finmo’s top line and working with all areas of the business including Product, Engineering and Operations.

Mindset is important in this role. We are looking for someone who is always curious and someone who can balance the artistic side of Marketing with the systematic side of execution. This person should be able to combine big-picture thinking with hands-on execution based on rapid experimentation.


  • Define and execute acquisition and retention marketing strategies
  • Optimise the best working channels to grow the user base including Facebook, PPC, content and beyond
  • Deliver data driven performance and turn insights into actionable change
  • Devise and implement growth strategies
  • Own and manage all digital marketing initiatives to achieve their highly aggressive growth goal
  • Uncover creative and non-traditional methods of growing their customer base
  • Steer continuous improvements of the day to day performance management and reporting.
  • Own metrics driven through marketing: awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue

About you

  • Minimum 2 years in growth or marketing roles in a fast paced company
  • The ability to work autonomously and be comfortable getting into the detail
  • Experience in campaign execution from end to end
  • You believe in continuous experimentation and in learning from successes and failures as a way to grow yourself and your team
  • You enjoy writing copy, helping develop content and picking creatives
  • You are comfortable working with data and analytical thinking, especially around behavioural metrics and engagement driven business models
  • You are comfortable in an environment with small teams and limited resources where you balance developing strategy and being hands-on
  • You have a strong working experience with paid social, content marketing, SEO best practices, and search
  • Experience in building and leading teams
  • Adaptable and resilient to change
