Business Development Manager

Global brands are investing heavily in content creation, and traditional agencies simply cannot deliver in this demanding, price-sensitive market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and meetings
  • Actively segment prospect lists
  • Logging and coordinating all sales activity in our CRM system
  • Engaging with inbound leads
  • Outbound prospecting in defined sectors

The perfect candidate will be:

  • Either: a graduate from a marketing or business management course - or somebody with at least 1 year full-time relevant experience
  • Either: a graduate from a marketing or business management course - or somebody with at least 1 year full-time relevant experience.
  • Smart, tenacious, and persistent – you’re comfortable in overcoming objections and goal orientated.
  • Highly organised and methodical in your approach, with the ability to ruthlessly prioritise your time.
  • 'Tech savvy' - existing knowledge of a variety of digital marketing and sales tools (including Hubspot) - or a willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job.

They will have:

  • A passion for sales, marketing and building relationships;

  • A solid understanding of marketing principles, particularly content and inbound marketing;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with clients, prospects and partners by telephone, email and in person;
  • An ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • A strong, self-directed work ethic, high energy and a positive attitude

This is a full-time position: 40 hours per week
