Job Overview

Mis-placed a marble? Have a screw that isn’t entirely in place? Do you approach the world in a different way? BDB’s creative team are looking to add to their team of people who look at clouds and see shapes, not rain.

The creative Team at BDB currently consists of 1 designer and 3 creative strategists who interpret and respond to new business pitches and ongoing retained briefs, plus project proposals. The briefs range across sectors covering fashion, beauty, automobile, FMCG, alcohol, environmental and banking.

The team is given direct exposure to the clients at pitches, responses and weekly calls where they wish and when required. Briefs range in their complexity from straightforward one channel brand awareness to multi channel, perception changing, year long and ongoing programmes.

A Creative Strategist Exec’s job is crucial to the success of campaigns, sharing many of the same responsibilities as our Senior Creatives. Your role will be varied, working from initial ideation through to delivery with both the creative and account management teams.

Responsibilities / key skills

As a Creative Strategy Executive, your role will include the following:

  • Research brands and market trends to develop relevant concepts
  • Ideate and develop creative executions
  • Support proposal development
  • Assist with industry research and competitive analysis
  • Moodboard creation
  • Keep up-to-date with industry & technological advancements, particularly in influencers, digital, and trends

  • Excellent communication both written and verbally
  • Independent, creative, proactive thinker
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve
  • Strong opinions on pineapple’s place on pizza
