Good Brands is an ambitious project building a new generation of digital first consumer brands, with modern values and distribution channels. We are targeting the skincare industry for the first phase of our launch under the brand Typology. Our ambition is to re-imagine the consumer industry by radically changing how products are made and sold. Founded by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology is recruiting talents with a desire for change and making an impact.
We are looking for candidates with a positive can-do attitude and ambitious mindset, who are passionate about writing and telling brand stories.
About the job
Working together with our growth, press, social media and product teams, your objective will be to define the ton of voice of Typology and ensure ton of voice consistency across different customer touch points.
Your main mission will be the production of numerous articles about Typology products and the beauty and wellness in general, by ensuring both the veracity of scientific information provided and the editorial quality of the content for the general public (SEO and social audiences);
You will write press releases, online advertisements, prepare press kits;
You will develop the expert image of Typology by popularizing scientific writings to the general public;
You will ensure the correct transcription of the tone of the brand in collaboration with all teams;
You may lead, according to the company needs, a team of freelancers;
You will keep watch on the latest news from the beauty sector and beauty-care industry in order to write engaging and creative content.
Proficient level in English. British English is a definite plus.
3 to 5 years of experience required in beauty / cosmetic writing for a brand or an editorial;
A background in communication, journalism or literature;
Additional scientific background (pharmacy, dermocosmetics, chemistry, or health) would be a real plus;
Impeccable writing and communication (portfolio).
You know how to write copy that’s captivating and accessible to your readers;
Good understanding of SEO tactics;
